Horizontal screw belt mixer
1. Brief description:
The horizontal screw belt mixer is composed of a U-shaped container, a stirring screw belt, and a transmission system; The spiral ribbon blades have a double-layer structure, with the outer spiral ribbon collecting materials from both sides to the center, and the inner spiral ribbon transporting materials from the center to both sides, forming convective mixing. The screw belt mixer has a good effect on the mixing of sticky or cohesive powder particles, as well as the mixing of liquid and paste materials added to the powder particles. The cylinder cover can be made into a fully open door type for easy cleaning and product replacement of the equipment.
2. Main features:
1. This model is a horizontal cylinder with a single axis double screw belt symmetrical distribution structure. The mixer barrel is U-shaped, and there is a feed port on the top cover or the upper part of the barrel, which can be equipped with a spray liquid adding device according to user needs. The cylinder body is equipped with a single shaft rotor, which is composed of a shaft, a transverse brace, and a screw belt;
2. The center of the bottom of the cylinder is equipped with a pneumatic (manual) flap valve or butterfly valve, and the arc valve is tightly embedded in the cylinder, flush with the inner wall of the cylinder, without material accumulation or mixing dead corners. The reliable edge sealing ensures no leakage during frequent switching;
3. The disconnected spiral belt structure produces greater shear motion on the material compared to the continuous spiral belt, and can cause more vortices to form in the flow of the material, accelerating the mixing speed and improving the mixing uniformity;
4. A jacket can be added outside the mixer barrel to cool or heat materials by injecting cold and hot media into the jacket. Generally, industrial water is pumped for cooling, and heat transfer oil can be heated by steam or electricity.
